[d]<\/a> The original petition is not available for research, it is the printed text published in the Akad\u00e9miai \u00c9rtes\u00edt\u0151<\/em> that is under the manuscript call number. According to Gyula Viszota\u2019s research, the petition was accompanied by an official notification from the high command, to which the petition was addressed. The notification was dated at the same time and stated that the Court War Council had agreed to the wearing of the insignia. Sz\u00e9chenyi received the Prussian military order of merit (Pour le merite) a few days before receiving the Sardinian order of merit. The text of the award certificate is given in Zichy 144.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
