Deinen Brief[a]<\/a> kann ich nur mit zwei Zeilen beantworten. Ich \u00fcbersende hier Cato\u2018s \u2014 Publication.[b]<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ich werde aus 100 Ursachen keine Stuten dies Jahr nach Siebenb\u00fcrgen senden. Gerne m\u00f6chte ich aber Hippodamia,[c]<\/a> wenn sie wohlfeil ist, und nicht auf der Stelle zu bezahlt werden braucht, nehmen \u2014 und nebstbey, 2 gute Siebenb\u00fcrger Landes Stuten – die Du 1823 bei Cato belegen lassen k\u00f6nntest dann ein Jahr bey Dir lassen; 1824 sie abf\u00fcllen lassen, und wieder belegen, und sodann im spat Sommer 1824 sammt 3 F\u00fcllen, tr\u00e4chtiger nach Zinkendorf senden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apropos. Es bleibt aber unter uns. Der Oberst Provas\u04f1[d]<\/a> sagte, da\u00df Haller[e]<\/a> mit seinen 2 Hengsten gar nicht zufrieden[1]<\/a>. Schreibe ihm, um Gottes Willen, da\u00df er sich doch nicht einbilde, er k\u00f6nne auf 2 und 4 J\u00e4hrige Pferde die Escadron commandiren. Oder nehme sie lieber zur\u00fcck. Wir werden sie schon brauchen k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Crispinb<\/sup> hat Paul[f]<\/a> gekauft. Sonst ist alles beym Alten \u2013 Das Wettrennen wird heute oder Morgen, mit einem gro\u00dfen Aprobatum zum Cabinet gelangen. Ich werde das Meinige gethan haben.[g]<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

He sends a brief reply to his letter. He sends the advertisement about Cato. There are 100 reasons not to send mares to Transylvania. But he would buy Hippodamia with two other Transylvanian mares. He asks Liebenberg to think about it. He confides that Colonel Provasi has told him that Haller
\nis not satisfied with two of his stallions. He asks Liebenberg to write to him. His horse Crispin was bought by his brother Paul. The case of horse-racing will go before the Cabinet sooner or later.
