In 1821 he was contracted to Istv\u00e1n Sz\u00e9chenyi as a veterinarian and stable master in Nagycenk. They went to England together several times to buy horses. Later he was employed by Palatine J\u00f3zsef and then by Palatine Istv\u00e1n.
