[c] His sister Franciska (1783–1861) married Count Miklós Batthyány (1778–1842) in 1802.
[d] His sister Zsófia (1788-1865), married Count Zichy Ferdinánd (1783-1862) in 1807.
[e] Anna Beloni, governess, first teacher of the Széchényi children, later wife of Mihály Tibolth.
[f] Mihály Tibolth (1765–1833) was a former tutor of Count Lajos Széchenyi, secretary to Count Ferenc Széchényi, then manager of his livestock, and archivist of the Széchenyi family from 1809 until his death.
[g] At that time Lajos Széchényi was studying law and in 1801 he passed the bar exam. At the time of writing, István Széchenyi was not yet 9 years old. At that time, he was mostly in Nagycenk, preferably in the open air due to his poor health.
