Archduke Ferenc has replied that the 80.000 forints is for other purposes. The money must come from elsewhere. His story (i. e. the duel) is not over yet.

Die Antwort des E. H.[1] Franz[b] ist angekommen,[c] und war „daß die 80 m[2] C. M.[3] bereits zu andern Zwecken bestimmt sind“ —
Wir müssen also auf andere Quellen mit Thätigkeit und Festem Willen denken.
Meine Geschichte ist noch nicht beendet, da des gewissen Mannes Ablöser[d] noch nicht ankam.
