Széchényi[2]
[1] Latin: request.
[2] Only the signature is in his own hand; the letter was written by Antal Pigay, Ferenc Széchényi’s secretary.
[a] In this and the next few letters, Széchenyi continues the economic correspondence with his livestock manager in place of his ailing father. The numbers preceding each item repeat the numbers of the minutes of the farm to make it easier to follow.
[b] On a separate page in the letter, Pigay writes that although Count István has already signed the letter, Count Ferenc has still raised certain questions about the Belesits house, and asks Liebenberg to answer them.
