So eben gehe ich nach Wien. 5000 hat Dauvergne[a] gegen Quittung bey Thibolt[b] erhoben. Ich billige ganz Ihre Reise nach Zákány. Wie lang mein Bleiben in Wien,[c] weiß ich nicht — Es ist möglich, daß ich in einigen Tagen wiederkehre — Auf jedem Fall sehen wir uns in Wien oder Zinkendorf – Adieu

[a] Dauvergne, who had been a cook for Princess Kaunitz, was hired by Széchenyi as a house supervisor.

[b] Ferenc Tibolth (1763–1833) was Ferenc Széchényi’s livestock manager and comptroller at the Cenk estate centre.

[c] On 30 September he went to Eisgrub, the estate of János Liechtenstein. On 3 October he was back in Vienna, and on 7 October he was in Nagycenk. SzIN 2. 307–308.
